Set between Dão Lafões, Serra da Estrela and Douro regions, the restaurant Viriato has reinvented the regional flavors of Beiras with personalized service. For starters we suggest sausages – salted or smoked ham, black pudding, chorizo and alheira sausage – or the famous Serra da Estrela cheese accompanied with cornbread or the regional rye bread.
 
To follow, the options are kid goat of the Montemuro Mountain, the Lafões veal, Arouca meat, cod or octopus.
 
To end with the chef's recommendation try the regional sweets of which you can enjoy the sweet golden egg delicacies, the sweet bean pastries, Viriatos sweet bread, and cottage cheese with honey of heather or pumpkin jam, creamy sponge cake and naturally the well-known Vouzela pastries.
